To facilitate the 2011 Corporate Recruiters Survey, your school may either
- Provide GMAC with a contact list of your employers and let us invite them via email, or
- Send the survey invitation directly to your school’s employers.
Names to Include on the Contact List
The contact list for the survey invitation should include all employers that worked with your school in 2010 to hire graduating business students holding an MBA or other master-level business degree. If employers' efforts did not result in actual hires among your graduates, they are still eligible and encouraged to participate in the survey.
Required Information
The following information is required for each employer contact on your list: first name, last name, email address, and company name.This information allows us to personalize the invitation we send and remove duplicates (many employers recruit at multiple schools).
List Format
We prefer to receive your school’s contact list in an Excel spreadsheet, but we will work with any data source that you have.
Deadline for Submitting List
Even If your school chooses to administer the survey using your own resources, GMAC needs to receive your contact list by January 21, 2011. Please send it by email to GMAC-Research@gmac.com. GMAC researchers check the lists to ensure that employers do not receive invitations from multiple schools and to assign employer responses to the appropriate schools for benchmark reports.
Schools opting to have GMAC administer the survey can still request a copy of the survey invitation email and all followup messages that we send to your employers.
- These emails are for information only—please do not use the survey link provided in the emails.
- Identify your email address in advance so you are not counted in sample and response rate calculations.
No Limits on Contacts
There is no minimum or maximum limit on the number of names to include in your contact list. We encourage you to submit your entire list—both employers that recruit on campus and those that do not—to ensure that survey feedback is representative of recruiting activities at your school. The majority of our respondents are: executives or line managers with hiring authority, human resources executives or managers, and experienced-hire recruiters with some campus recruitment experience.
Minimum of 5 Survey Responses Needed to Request Benchmark Report
GMAC can only prepare a benchmark report for your school if five or more of your employers respond to the survey, so please encourage as many of them as possible to participate.
