Schools may either—
- Provide a contact list of their employers and have GMAC invite them via email, or
- Send the survey invitation directly to your school’s employers.
Please include or invite all employers that worked with your school in 2009 to hire graduating business students with MBA or other master’s-level degree in business. If their efforts did not result in hiring your graduates, they are still eligible and encouraged to participate.
Employer contact lists should include—
- Company contact first name
- Company contact last name
- Company contact email address
- Company name
This information allows us to personalize the invitation and remove duplicates (many employers recruit at multiple schools). We prefer to receive your school’s list in an Excel spreadsheet, but we will work with any data source that you have.
If schools choose to self-administer the survey, they are also encouraged to send an email to GMAC-Research@gmac.com by January 30, 2010 (Deadline extended!), with their employer contact list. The purpose of this is to ensure employers do not receive invitations to participate from multiple schools and so that employer responses can be associated with the school for benchmark reports. (We do not store this contact information after eliminating duplicate entries.)
If you send us your employer list, you may request to receive the invitation to employers via email. You will receive the same messages as your employers (one invitation and one follow-up).
- These emails are for information only—please do not use the survey link provided in the emails.
- Please identify your email address in advance so you are not counted in sample and response rate calculations.
There is no set minimum or maximum for the number of names to provide for the survey and we encourage you to submit the entire list of employers—those that recruit on campus and those that do not—to ensure that your employers’ feedback is representative of recruiting activities at your school. Note: A School Benchmarking Report can only be provided if five or more of your employers participate.
