Rodney Alsup has been elected president of The MBA Roundtable, a nonprofit international business school consortium. Alsup is the former senior associate dean for executive education programs at Kennesaw State University and currently serves as director of international programs for ASEBUSS, the Romanian-American Postgraduate School of Business.
Stephen A. Carter, group chief executive of Brunswick Group LLP, has been appointed chairman of the Ashridge Business School Board of Governors. Carter has served on the Ashridge board since 2005. Prior to joining Brunswick, the corporate communications consultancy, Carter was chief executive of Ofcom, the UK communications regulator. Before that he was managing director of telecoms company, NTL in the UK and Ireland and chief executive of the advertising group, J Walter Thompson UK.
Dr. J Markham Collins is a Fulbright Scholar in Eger, Hungary, this semester at the Eszterházy Károly College. Collins is associate dean for academic programs and professor of finance at the University of Tulsa and a member of TeamMBA. He earned his doctoral degree at the University of Oklahoma.
Tracee DeAntoni is the new student services manager for the Leeds School of Business MBA programs.
Niki Healey has been promoted to the role of director, MBA admissions and recruiting, at the Richard Ivey School of Business. Healey joined the Ivey MBA admissions team in 2005 as manager MBA recruitment. She is an Ivey HBA graduate, a former Business 020 instructor at the University of Western Ontario, and has extensive client management experience.
Dr. Mohan Kuruvilla is the new Associate Dean of Graduate Programs at the Houston Baptist University College of Business and Economics, where he also serves as Herman Brown Chair of Business and Economics and an associate professor in accounting. Kuruvilla served on the faculty of Houston Baptist University from 1997-2000; after an interim period of professional pursuits, he rejoined the HBU faculty in September 2003. During the interim period, he was a director of KPMG India. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, and a Chartered Accountant.
