Deans

Dennis A. Ahlburg has been appointed dean of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He formerly served as senior associate dean of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Ahlburg holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Stefanie Lenway has been appointed dean and professor of managerial studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Business Administration. Lenway previously was associate dean of MBA programs and professor of strategic management at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She holds doctor and master of business administration degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.

Gary Lindblad has become assistant dean and director of the MBA program at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. Lindblad has spent the past three years at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto; earlier, he worked at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and education from the State University of New York at Fredonia and master’s and doctor of education degrees from UCLA.

James M. Olver has been named assistant dean of the MBA program at the College of William and Mary School of Business. He holds a PhD in business administration from the University of Virginia.

Susan Bach has been named executive director of the Center for Leadership Development at Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business. The center’s role is to provide students with opportunities to develop and apply leadership skills and learn about the role leaders play in effective organizations. Bach, a certified executive coach, earned bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from New York University.

Caroline Diarte-Edwards has been named director of admission, marketing, and external relations at the MBA program at INSEAD. She previously worked for the International Finance Corp. in Indonesia. Diarte-Edwards holds an MBA from INSEAD.
