Deans

James Danko will take over in August as dean of the College of Commerce and Finance at Villanova University. Danko has served since 2000 as associate dean for strategy and operations at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College; previously, he held posts in the business schools at the University of Michigan, University of Washington, University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, and Babson College. He earned a BA in religious studies from John Carroll University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Rob Ducoffe has been named dean of the School of Business and Economics at Indiana University–South Bend. He comes to Indiana from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, where he was a professor of marketing and the associate dean, graduate academic affairs. Ducoffe’s educational background includes a BA in political science from McGill University, an AM in communications management from the University of Southern California, and a PhD in mass media from Michigan State University.

Larry Louie was named assistant dean for graduate programs at the University of San Francisco Masagung School of Management. He brings with him over 25 years of work experience with employers ranging from major professional services firms to startup companies. Louie earned a BS with emphasis in finance and accounting from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford University.

Karen Maccaro has been promoted to associate dean of the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, effective July 1; she is currently the assistant dean and administrative director of the MBA program. Maccaro has a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts and an EdM from Boston University, where she is currently working toward a PhD in Education.
