Each year, GMAC® gathers hundreds of graduate management professionals to share best practices, marketplace trends, and research data. This year, business school professionals in all functions are invited to join GMAC® in beautiful Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for three days of interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and riveting presentations. The 2005 conference theme is “Reimagine Reality.”
Concurrent sessions on best practices, new practices, and emerging trends will offer attendees outstanding insight into the daily challenges of graduate management education. Diversity is an especially hot topic for 2005; several sessions are planned on the status of women and minorities in business schools and the business community.
Bestselling authors Tom Peters and Daniel Pink will be the keynote speakers this year. Peters, an influential (and controversial) business thinker, will share his “passion for passion” and explain how it applies to tomorrow’s business world. See what the man BusinessWeek called “business’s best friend and worst nightmare” has to say about rules, barriers, and bureaucracies.
Pink, a contributing editor for Wired magazine, will discuss the future of the business world and what qualities will best serve our graduates as they put their MBAs to use. Pink’s first book, Free Agent Nation, is now used in many undergraduate and MBA programs, and his newest release, A Whole New Mind, presents techniques to help you thrive in today’s business environment.
