Dina Dommett has joined New York University’s Stern School of Business as assistant dean for MBA admissions, putting her in charge of Stern’s efforts to recruit students to its full- and part-time MBA programs. Dommett formerly served as associate dean of executive MBA programs at Columbia Business School and as director of special projects at London Business School. She earned a PhD in Italian language and literature from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in Italian and German from Boston College.
Jaishankar Ganesh recently became associate dean of graduate and external programs at the University of Central Florida’s College of Business. Ganesh also is associate professor of marketing at the school. Trained in India as an engineer, Ganesh later attended the University of Houston, where he earned an MBA in international business and a doctorate in marketing and international business.
Ira Weiss took over as dean of the North Carolina State University College of Management December 1. Weiss previously served as dean and professor of accounting and management information systems at Northeastern University; earlier, he was dean of the Madrid Business School and a top official at the University of Houston. He holds a doctorate from the Graduate School of Management (now the Anderson School of Management) at the University of California—Los Angeles (UCLA), a master’s degree in accounting and information systems from UCLA, and a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College.

Jennifer Arthur has been promoted to the role of assistant director of the MBA program at the College of Management at North Carolina State University. She directs full-time admission, meets with prospective full-time students, and oversees the school’s RedWall Career Center. Arthur previously ran her own business. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Palm Beach Atlantic University and an MBA from Rollins College.
Ted Bouras recently became MBA program director at Northern Arizona University. He spent more than a decade at the University of Wisconsin—Madison School of Business, where he served most recently as director of the Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management. Earlier, Bouras was assistant director of MBA career development at Wisconsin. He holds an undergraduate degree in music from the University of Missouri—Kansas City and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.
