Interest in Canadian business schools among global GMAT examinees is at an all-time high. Schools in Canada received 27,005 score reports in the testing year ending June 30, 2009, up 27 percent from five years before, making Canada the third-largest destination for global GMAT student talent. Although nearly half of the score reports sent to Canada were from Canadians, citizens from several regions─including Asia and the Middle East─also showed significant interest in studying in the country. With the Quebec government announcing in February that it will fast-track foreign graduates of its universities for citizenship, interest in Canada from global talent is likely to keep growing. For Canada Day July 1, here’s a look at who’s interested in studying business in Canada:
