DATA TO GO: Record GMAT Volume FOR Testing Year 2000-2009
Annual GMAT volume hit a record for the second straight year, with 265,613 exams administered in the Testing Year 09, which ended June 30. That total was up 7.55 percent from the 246,957 tests taken the year before. The TY08 figure eclipsed the previous record of 244,655 in TY02. GMAT volume has increased each year for the past five years.
GMAT data for TY09, along with historical data, are now available online through the GMAT Interactive Profile. The Profile of GMAT Candidates 2008-2009, featuring several new tables based on school feedback, will be published in November.
