The MBA Pathfinder® data warehouse, the data collection tool behind the mba.com school search service, is being enhanced once again based on feedback from business school users. Thanks to industry input, we’re able to offer some exciting new options in October 2006.
Based on an analysis of 11 major media surveys, we have added new questions to our data collection. More questions may not sound like an improvement, but all data will be downloadable to an Excel file. Users will also have the option of downloading only the data matching questions asked by US News & World Report and Financial Times, giving them a head start on media surveys.
Some of the requirements and restrictions have been changed or removed. For example, entering the number of applications received and the number of those accepted is no longer mandatory. Additionally, GMAC® member schools may enter data required for membership compliance (applications, matriculation, etc.) without making it available to the public.
With updated definitions and simplified data entry, users will find the MBA Pathfinder® data warehouse experience easier and more useful than ever before.
