On March 20, 2006, the GMAT® exam became available in Athens and Thessaloniki, after the Hellenic Data Protection Authority granted the Council permission to collect and transmit data associated with the test. This process was part of an ongoing effort to meet the unique data privacy and security requirements of each country in which the GMAT® exam is offered.

GMAT® test takers have a choice of more than 400 testing centers around the world. Because we value the privacy of GMAT® test takers, and because the reliability of GMAT® scores depends heavily upon the security of the testing environment and data, the Council is committed to complying with local laws to ensure this security in every testing location.
