New GMAC Department to Serve B-Schools
A new GMAC® department will enable the organization to step up its ongoing efforts to serve the needs of business schools.
Continuing its long history of being responsive to schools, GMAC® recently instituted an organizational realignment that will help the Council respond even more quickly and comprehensively to business schools’ needs. The new department, Client Services, will consolidate all activities, products, and services for or involving schools, creating a single GMAC® point of contact for business school professionals.

The Client Services department comprises professional development programs, school outreach and member relations, product management and new product development, customer service, and the mba.com school search service.

The new department is headed by Susan Motz, vice president, client services. Susan has worked at GMAC® for six years, in various client service functions, including director of recruiting services and new product development, and managing director of marketing and customer service. Just prior to joining GMAC®, Susan directed the MBA program at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management; she also worked in admissions at Carnegie Mellon’s Graduate School of Industrial Administration and the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. Susan served on the GMAC® Board of Directors from 1995 to 1998. She earned an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business.
