2004 Directors Symposium
Two events in December will help cross-functional teams from business schools work together to choose applicants who are most likely to thrive academically—and shine on their MBA programs long after graduation.

Senior–level business school professionals are invited to attend one of two symposia designed to help them select applicants who will succeed in the classroom—and later match up well with employers and become active alumni.

The 2004 Directors Symposium, offered in December in Atlanta and Chicago, was well received when it was presented earlier in 2004 in Los Angeles, Paris, and New York. Cosponsored by GMAC® and the MBA Career Services Council (MBA CSC), the program brings together school professionals from multiple business schools to share techniques for identifying promising students and those who are unlikely to succeed in a program and become active alumni. The symposium will also include sessions on using the CareerLeader® online assessment tool and tapping GMAC® research and other information to craft marketing strategies for MBA programs.

The 2004 Directors Symposium in Atlanta will take place December 2, 2004, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The symposium in Chicago will take place December 3, 2004, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration is now open, but the number of attendees is limited, so people interested in attending should act quickly to reserve space.
